Field of application: positron emission tomography (PET) systems.
The linear gamma radiation source PGL.1 is a hermetically sealed extended capsule made of titanium alloy VT1 or stainless steel 12X18H10T with a diameter of 3 mm and a length of up to 200 mm, inside which there is an active part in the form of a metal wire with germanium-68 radionuclide deposited on it. Plugs are inserted into the tube on both sides, one of which has a blind threaded hole M2.

Sources of PGL.1 are supplied in a specially designed packaging kit UKT1A-1TS (C).

The volumetric gamma radiation source PGL.2 is a sealed cylindrical capsule made of polyamide with an outer diameter of 213 mm and a height of 309-379 mm, inside which there is an active part in the form of a cylinder made of epoxy compound with germanium-68 radionuclide evenly distributed in it.
